Our Process, Credentials, and 3-Year Warranty

When homeowners hire a painting company in Connecticut, the real questions aren’t about the color—they’re about protection, prep, clarity, timelines, and accountability. This page explains how our projects run from the first message to the final walkthrough, what our credentials mean in practice, and how our 3-year workmanship warranty works.

Our 3-Year Workmanship Warranty (Connecticut)

We stand behind our work with a 3-year workmanship warranty on qualifying residential painting services in Connecticut. This warranty is written to be clear and fair—so homeowners know what’s covered, what’s not, and how to get help quickly.

Warranty term: Three (3) years from the project’s substantial completion date shown on the final invoice / closeout documentation.

Covered workmanship issues (when caused by our labor)

  • Peeling, blistering, or flaking caused by improper surface prep or application
  • Adhesion failure where coating separates from a properly prepared substrate
  • Premature cracking attributable to application/workmanship (not building movement)
  • Obvious finish uniformity defects inconsistent with professional standards (as documented at completion)

What we will do

At our option, we will repair and recoat the affected area(s) using comparable materials and methods, at no labor cost to you, subject to the conditions and exclusions below. If an exact color match is not possible due to aging, sun exposure, or product changes, we will blend repairs professionally to minimize visual difference.

Conditions for coverage

To keep this warranty fair for both sides: – The surface must be maintained normally (e.g., gutters working, chronic leaks addressed, ventilation used in high-humidity rooms). – No unapproved alterations: the warranted area has not been sanded, pressure washed aggressively, patched, modified, or coated by others after completion. – Cleaning must be non-abrasive (no harsh chemicals or scraping that damages the coating). – Prompt notice: notify us within 30 days of first noticing a potential warranty issue.

What’s not covered

  • Normal wear and tear, fading, or minor chalking from sun/UV exposure
  • Structural movement (settling, expansion/contraction, wood movement, nail pops) unrelated to coating application
  • Moisture issues not caused by workmanship (roof/flashing/plumbing leaks, ice dams, trapped moisture, poor ventilation, efflorescence)
  • Substrate failures (rotted wood, failing prior coatings, concealed damage) not visible/accessible during evaluation, or repairs declined in the scope
  • Damage by third parties (other trades, tenants, pets, movers) or weather events/vandalism
  • Extreme events (“Acts of God”) such as flooding or severe storms
  • Material-only issues covered by manufacturer warranties (we can provide documentation, but manufacturer terms apply)

Credentials, Warranty and How We Stand Behind Our Work

Licensed & Insured

We operate as a Connecticut residential painting company with proper coverage and site standards. That protects the homeowner, the property, and the project especially when ladders, prep work, and multi-day schedules are involved.

Written Scope

Every project includes a written scope that spells out what we’re doing, where we’re doing it, and how the work will be completed—prep, repairs, primers, finish coats, and cleanup. It’s designed to make comparing estimates fair and straightforward.

Local Accountability

We’re a small, owner-led team based in Fairfield County and serving the entire state. That means you’re not dealing with rotating franchise crews—you know who you’re hiring, who’s responsible for the work, and who to call if you need anything during the project.

How Our Connecticut House Painting Projects Run (Start to Finish)

We keep the steps simple so you always know what’s happening and why—from first message to final walkthrough.
